This is a self portrait mostly just in the sense that I used personal objects that are very representative of me personally. I played around a lot with scale, the flower-like objects on the bottom is made up of the eyes of an owl on a necklace that are scaled up. The purple background is a part of a pattern on a scarf which has been scaled down. I played around with different textures, gradients, effects and overlays.I also used varying opacity to make certain objects more prominent than others. There is clear repetition present in the recurrence of shapes and objects. I created depth by the placement of the objects in relation to one another. It is also representative of me in the sense that I really value organization and consistency, however, I do not like perfect symmetry.
